Workers can bid with their own estimate

How bidding works

  1. Send a detailed bid — your price, materials, hours, and timeline.
  2. The poster compares the bids they receive and picks the one they want.
  3. If yours is chosen, agree on the final price, payment method, and timing with the customer before work starts.

Submit your bid

Give the client a clear estimate. TryHardly does not handle payment. You collect the agreed amount from the customer directly, and you keep all of it — there is no marketplace fee. Agree on how and when you will be paid before you start, and ask the customer to confirm the job here afterward so it counts toward your record.

Getting paid

  • The customer pays you directly, and you keep all of it.
  • Agree the amount and how you will be paid before you start, and keep that conversation here so there is a record of it.
  • Ask the customer to confirm the job here afterward — that is what builds your record.
  • Reviews are only written by people who finished a job together.
